Women Housing and Income Providers (WHIP), a robust women’s coalition within the housing, real estate development, and related industries, is hosting its kickoff event, “Shift Your Perspective on Women-Owned Housing.” 

Tuesday, November 14, at 8 a.m.
Chicago Mosaic School, 1127 W. Granville.

A light breakfast will be served, along with speakers Katherine Elmore and Jaimie Steinher talking about creative funding for housing projects. Developer Rae Ann Cercle will give a tour of an energy-efficient, elegant renovation of a once unsightly corner grocery. The cost to attend is $50, which goes toward membership if an attendee chooses to join. Event sponsorships available.
