A Chicago Tribune story, posted on October 23, 2023, quoted NBOA President Michael Glasser and cited our survey, which showed that “more than 230 Chicago housing providers, 38% of respondents, said they do not have any vacant units available, with around 85% of respondents saying fewer than 5% of their rental units [were] available.”
